My undersanding of the same concept is a bit different.
Whenever we add a t-code in Menu tab, the corresponding object classes, authorization objects, field and values will be pulled from USOBX_C and USOBT_C table so that we can control the behaviour of the t-code whereas if we add directly in the S_TCODE tcd field the corresponding object classes, a.o and fields wont reflect. So, we cant define or decide the behaviour of the t-code.
another main difference is i would say, when you enter tcode on menu level user can see that tcode in his/her sap first screen after logon, but trough s_tcode level entry user will not able to see that tcode in the menu…..
its really good one,,,,
can u please provide me Diff Betwn S_TCODE and P_TOCDE?
waiting for ur reply,,,,,,
